The cost of travel adds up.

Why not donate your commuter cash to a worthy local cause?

The money you’d usually spend on your morning caffeine boost, petrol money and after-work snacks can really add up.

Birmingham St Marys Hospice

Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice provides free end of life care, for over 500 people who are living with life-limiting illnesses across Birmingham and Sandwell.

The Hospice provides light, smiles, laughter, empathy and understanding. The team is committed to improving the quality of life for people living with life-limiting illnesses, as well as supporting their families and loved ones during one of the most challenging periods they will face.

Birmingham St Mary’s Hospice aims to help people to live well, to help them spend their time how they want to, and to be there for families, carers, and loved ones.

It costs the hospice £9million every year to continue to provide these services, with 64% needed from voluntary donations. Today, we need your support more than ever before.

Free@Last

free@last improves the lives of the children and young people who live in one of the poorest areas of Birmingham, providing activities, opportunities, trauma support, new experiences and life chances, to broaden their horizons and help them improve their life chances.

Our vision is to improve the lives of the children and young people of inner city Birmingham, by providing support and opportunities to them and their families. We work with all 3 sectors to help share resources and work towards creating a self sustainable community – poverty free!

Help Harry Help Others

HelpHarryHelpOthers  is a cancer charity built through lived experience. Whether it’s an adult or a child, we support the mental wellbeing of Cancer patients, relatives, carers and work colleagues from our home from home Drop In Cancer Support Centre that offers 20 services on site. HHHO pride ourselves by offering every inch of support someone may need outside of treatment.

Our Core Services include emotional support, counselling, debt & financial advice, benefits advice, housing and council tax advice and we also offer a more holistic approach with a range of treatments, therapies, social activities, support groups and educational sessions.

Our aim is to support families to deal with all the change that has happened as a result of a cancer diagnosis and reduce as much stress and worry possible so that they can focus on what’s important…….going through treatment and being a family.  No referrals are required and people can access us by literally dropping in or telephoning us.

As a charity that doesn’t receive any funding and relies on all our own fundraising and that of the amazing public, now more than  ever, we need the support to keep our services going.

The Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country

The Wildlife Trust for Birmingham and the Black Country has been protecting wildlife and restoring wild spaces for 40 years after we were established as the first ‘urban’ Wildlife Trust in the UK in 1980.

We have created and restored hundreds of sites across Birmingham and the Black Country from rivers, meadows and woodlands.  Our environmental education centres provide thousands of young people with access to nature every year.

We all benefit from connecting with nature, so donate your commute to help us continue to create a high quality network of greenspace that enables people and wildlife to thrive.
